Calgary Herald: After renovating a rental house in Saskatoon, Bridget Reichert was ready to buy new. On her wish list: a brand-new condominium that would be move-in ready.

And, after searching the condo market for more than a year, Bridget Reichert, 26, knew exactly what she wanted — she just needed to find a property that met her needs and meet a sales team that could turn her dream home into a reality.

Her wish came true when she walked through the doors of the Battistella sales office.

“As soon as we walked in, we knew we were going to buy one of those units,” says Reichart. “And, the purchasing process was painless. It was so easy to work with the Battistella team.”

In fact, Reichert says when she was having difficulty deciding between two units, a Battistella representative showed Reichart, her parents and her boyfriend the units on three different occasions over a span of two days.

“My dad is an engineer and he was concerned the quality of the building wouldn’t be as good because the property was being built so fast,” says Reichart.

“So he was stoked he got to see the bare bones and how great a job the builders were doing. It definitely got his stamp of approval.”

What she ended up buying was a two-bedroom, one-bathroom, 850-square-foot condo in Battistella’s property, Brunette, for $322,000.

“It just has everything we wanted,” says Reichart. “It was a good square footage and price. And it was located in a dream spot.”

As a sales rep for Burton Snowboards in Calgary, Reichart is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys recreational activities on the fly.

“The Bridgeland/Renfew area is so central,” says Reichart. “I can literally walk out my door and go on a variety of different running paths or hop on the Deerfoot Trail and bike to work.

And it’s so easy for me to head out to the mountains for snowboarding or hiking — anywhere else in Calgary, it would take me at least 45 minutes.”

Reichart says considering the location, the property and the buying process, she would have no problem recommending her friends to buy from Battistella, and would even buy another property from the company down the road.

“I would absolutely recommend them,” she says. “They took the fear out of buying a home. There was no pressure.”
