Chartreuse is a 12-unit loft-style live/work townhome complex. Designed by Peter Jungen of Habitat Design, and enhanced by Graham Edmunds Architecture, and characterized by its industrial finishes including steel fireplace, steel shelves, exposed beams and beam stairs, Chartreuse is reflective of the part industrial, part residential neighbourhood of Inglewood, where it resides. The two-storey homes range in size from 955 to 1300 square feet and either consists of one bedroom and a den or one and a half bedrooms. All main floors have 10-foot ceilings, with an 18-foot living room space overlooked from the loft.

Chartreuse, built in 2001, served as the prototype for Battisella’s stellar evolution into becoming Calgary’s most creative urban condo builder.” Everyday Tourist
