This Saturday Summertime in the City brings the party to Kensington!

On July 30th from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Kensington streets will be shut down between 2nd Avenue and 10th Street (Beside Midtown Kitchen & Bar) to make way for bigtime summertime fun!

Slide the City is back and with a giant slip-and-slide that will be set up at 10th Street and Sait Way, so you can slide your way into the party and festivities!

Mission Snow, Skate & BMX will create a skate park equipped with professional Skateboard and BMX riders. Enjoy watching the show while soaking up some rays, and enjoy DJ beats on Midtown Kitchen & Bar’s extended patio (open until 8:30 p.m)

Open Streets Calgary will be peddle powering music, bubbles and a cellphone charging station. We will be set up outside LIDO offering special give-a-ways and prizes, and we will have an interactive photobooth set up where you can ride the LIDO scooter.
