Summerfields

Summerfields is a fifty-one unit stacked townhouse development that was built on an old Safeway site in the community of Mount Pleasant, and the architect was Peter Garry. The project had a variety of different unit types ranging from single-storey 800 square foot one-bedroom townhomes to two-storey 1300 square foot townhomes with double attached garages.
The project was completed in 1996 and is still used by the City of Calgary Planning Department as an example of sensitive urban redevelopment with higher densities.
