It has been a millwork month at LIDO. Almost all the cabinets and trim have been installed throughout the building. As cabinets go in built-in appliances are being installed. The next steps are to paint the ceilings, lay the floors, paint the walls, and then do the finishing touches. The second floor is almost turn-key complete and the construction team is busy working their way up the building. Move in’s will start from the 3^rd floor up!

• Exterior: The sidewalks have been completed along 10^th street, trees included. Finishing touches are being added including lighting under the commercial awnings. The skip hoist (the outdoor elevator attached to the exterior) is set to be removed mid-month!
• Parkade:  Bike lockers have been installed in the designated storage rooms. The stall numbers are painted on. Next step is to install the lighting.  
• Main Floor: The lobby is progressing quickly. The iconic Battistella mosaic entry way is almost complete and up next are the interior finishes. The elevator is operational and patiently waiting for your move in day.
• 2nd Floor: Floors are all in and the appliances are being installed. We are in the final touches stage on this floor.
• 3^rd Floor: Built-in appliances (microwaves, ovens, and cooktops) are going in. The next step is to lay flooring.
• 4^th Floor: Many built-in appliances are installed. Up next is painting the ceilings. After that flooring will be installed and then wall paint is a final process.
• 5^th Floor: Tiles are being installed. Cabinets and counter tops are in.
• 6^th Floor: Cabinets are done and counter tops are arriving this week. Trim is being painted now. Tile installers will move up to this floor next.
• 7^th Floor: Cabinets and trim is all being installed. The baseboard radiant heaters are also going in.
• 8^th Floor: Cabinets have been brought up to the 8^th floor and are being installed this week. All the baseboards and door trim is going in as well.  
• Rooftop: The structure for the gas fireplace insert is in place.  The earth in the planters has been leveled out and gardening is set to begin next month.
